Nelson Pa., Sept 27th 1917
On Thursday, September 27th 1917, occurred the 10th Annual "Cousins Dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Cady. Mrs. Cady has the honor of being the youngest cousin of this clan. The day was beautiful and the cousins came from every direction until there were about forty present.
Sixteen own1 cousins, out of twenty three that are now living.
Tables were spread and a sumptious [sic] chicken dinner was served, with cake and ice cream. The place-cards were a Scotch Flag, the gift of the hostess. After dinner a short business meeting was held, T. C. Campbell presiding. Officers for ensuing year: A. E. Campbell President and Mrs. T. C. Campbell Secy, with Mrs. E. S. Horton as our next hostess. The remainder of the day was given up to music and visiting and each one contributed to the fun. Another "beautiful day" in which the time of love seem [sic] to bind us closer, came to a close, and all departed hoping that we may meet another year with our members unbroken.
Stella Wilbur, Secy.
