The Joseph Campbell cousins1 held their annual "Cousins Dinner" at the beautiful home of A. E. Campbell on Wednesday Sept. 22 in Elmira. The day was all that could be asked for and by half past twelve all was in readiness. Tables were set in the parlor, sitting room and library and just fifty sat down for dinner for one of the most elaborate meals ever spread, with everything that mother earth co Too much praise cannot be given to oiuld provide and one of Elmira's best caterers could prepare. Some of the cousins remarked "every year the dinner is better, what will the next one be." Cousins were there from Harrison Valley, Westfield, Knoxville, Osceola, Nelson and Mansfield, with a few invited guests, Mr. and Mrs. Will Blackwell,2 Mr. and Mrs. Will Shipman3 of Elmira and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Brown4 of Horseheads. A short program was given short speeches, music, reading of the minutes of the last meeting, election of officers etc. Then came visiting making new acquaintances renewing old ones and a general good time. Too much praise cannot be given to Cousins Dell and Carrie Campbell for their hearty hospitality.
