We ought to be very thankful that we can send greetings to all of the Campbell Cousins. There have been so many of our friends and neighbors called home¹ the past winter.

I came to Wellsboro² on December 12th. It has been a cold winter with a good deal of sickness here. There are many cases of Grippe³, but we hope for warm weather soon and then we will all feel better. I heard some summer birds this morning and it sounded good to me.

I am anticipating with much pleasure in reading the letters.
