Elizabeth "Libby/Lib" Campbell was born Apr. 24, 1830, in Nelson, Tioga Co., PA; d. Jan. 29, 1904 in Brainerd, Crow Wing Co., MN. Married Oct. 1, 1855 in Nelson, to Daniel Hughey; b. Nov. 14, 1825, in Schuyler Co.. NY; d. Feb. 12, 1891 in Brainerd. Daniel's parents were Joseph Hughey and Jane Hughes, both born in Ireland.
Lib was the 5th of 12 children of Joseph
Campbell, b. 1793 in N. Ireland or Scotland, d. 1864 in Nelson;
and Ann Clinch, born 1804 in
Gloucestershire, England, died 1872 in Nelson.
Daniel and Lib Campbell Hughey had two children, both born in Sugar Hill, Schuyler Co.:
- Thomas Hughey, both b. and d. there Oct. 10, 1856; and
- Herbert Clinch Hughey, b. Oct. 21, 1857, m. Hannah Jennie Bixby.
