Jud (not 'Judd') Delos Seely was born May 21, 1851, in Oseeola, Tioga Co., PA; d. there Sep. 7, 1929. Married first Feb. 26, 1873 in Deerfield Twp., Tioga Co., PA to Mary E. Babcock, b. Jul. 13, 1847, in Farmington Twp., Tioga Co., PA; d. Mar.27, 1883 in Osceola. Mary's parents were Samuel Perry Babcock and Mary Ann Cannif, both born in NY. He married 2nd to his second cousin, Mary Louise Hazlett, b. Apr. 28, 1854 in Nelson, Tioga Co., PA; d. Apr 19, 1936 in Osceola. Her parents were Samuel Hazlett, b. 1816 in Nelson and Catherine Swartwood Knapp, b. 1816 in NY.

Jud was the 2nd of 3 children of Mary Ann Campbell, b. 1826 in Nelson, Tioga Co., PA, d. there 1875; and Allen Seely, born 1826 in Osceola, died there in 1909.

Jud was a farmer.

Jud and Mary BABCOCK Seely had two children:

1. Lee Marcus Seely, b. Sep. 7, 1874 in Osceola, m. Campbell Cousin Elva Rachel Mourey, Erma Thompson and Elizabeth E. Loop; and
2. Samuel Allen Seely , b. Mar. 27, 1883 in Osceola, m. Elizabeth "Betsy" Philena Tubbs.

Mary Louise HAZLETT Seely didn't have children.
